5. Arrow- a billionaire playboy turned hooded vigilante, who is based on the DC Comics character Green Arrow. After surviving a ship wreck on an isolated island for five years, Oliver returns to his home city with a mission to right the wrongs of his father and save the city from the crime that has grown in his absence.

4. Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. – It’s based on Marvel Universe’s fictional and secret law-enforcement agency, Strategic Hazard Intervention Espionage Logistic Directorate.

Supergirl-Twenty-four-year-old Kara Zor-El, who was taken in by the Danvers family when she was 12 after being sent away from Krypton, must learn to embrace her powers after previously hiding them. The Danvers teach her to be careful with her powers, until she has to reveal them during an unexpected disaster, setting her on her journey of heroism.

2. The Flash – Barry Allen / Flash, a Central City assistant police forensic investigator. An accident at the S.T.A.R. Labs particle accelerator causes a thunderstorm, which precipitates a chemical explosion in Allen’s laboratory. When he revives from a coma, he has superhuman speed. Iris West, the daughter of Detective West and the best friend of Barry Allen. Rick Cosnett as Eddie Thawne, based on the DC Comics character Professor Zoom. A recent transfer to the Central City Police Department, Thawne’s past is a mystery and he harbors a dark secret.

1. Daredevil – A blind lawyer who becomes the hero Daredevil. The idea of casting Cox as Daredevil came from Marvel’s Chief Creative Officer Joe Quesada in 2012, before Marvel Studios gained the rights to the character from 20th Century Fox. Cox wanted to be involved with the series after reading the first two scripts for the series, telling his agent “These are two of the best TV scripts I’ve read”. Cox “had to do a lot of gym work” to change his physique to equal that of the more muscular character as drawn in the comics, and worked with a blind consultant.
